Day of Service in the Philippines
On October 25, 2024, a remarkable event took place in Dasmariñas, Philippines, where 40 dedicated 4Life Affiliates and employees, including Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Vollmer, came together for a meaningful day of service. Their mission: to build homes for underprivileged families in collaboration with Gawad Kalinga, an organization committed to alleviating poverty in the region.
This initiative aims to construct 20 sustainable houses, with a target completion date of December 2024. Remarkably, the project is already 80% complete. What makes this effort particularly noteworthy is the involvement of the families who will eventually inhabit these homes; they are working side-by-side with the volunteers, actively participating in the construction of their future residences.
Eileen Tan-Dario, General Manager of 4Life Philippines, expressed the profound impact of the experience, stating, “It is such a fulfilling experience to help build these homes with the 4Life family. It was an honor to have Dr. Vollmer onsite to support. These homes will transform the lives of the families who will be occupying them. It is such a privilege to be a part of something so transformational.”
4Life, known as "The Immune System Company," has a global presence with offices in numerous countries, focusing on serving its worldwide clientele. Their commitment to community service exemplifies the company's core values and dedication to making a difference.
This day of service not only showcases the collective effort to improve living conditions for those in need but also highlights the spirit of teamwork and compassion within the 4Life community. As the project nears completion, it will undoubtedly leave a lasting legacy for both the families receiving the homes and the volunteers who contributed to this noble cause.
